The Tim Roberts "Reeling in a Dream" Fund

This fund has been established in loving memory of Tim Roberts, (1983-2005), a patient at Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women’s Cancer Center. The goal of the fund is to contribute to the quality of life of young adults with cancer who are patients within the Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women’s Cancer Center system. The age group to be served will generally fall in the range of 17-30 with some latitude for exceptions based on individual need.
The fund is available for the following:
(1) individuals in this age range for
(a) practical items such as clothing, textbooks,
(b) “fun” activities that bring to joy to life such as concert or sporting event tickets
(2) enhancements to the environment at Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women’s Cancer Center such as ipods or age-specific electronic media
(3) programming specific to this age group, such as retreats or support groups for young adults with cancer
